Susanne Schanz, entrepreneur in catering


Even as a child, Susanne Schanz liked to cook. After getting her degree in food science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, she and her future husband took a long tour of Canada. And along the way she had the idea to start up a new business: a gourmet catering service delivering fine meals directly to clients’ homes. With little in the way of money, but with plenty of energy and ideas, they set off to realize their dream. And realize they have, adding staff, space and clients at a brisk pace. One thing has stayed the same: the joy and creativity they bring to their work every day.
